SWAMP WATER NET

静岡県浜松市で生まれ育った、としみん（鶴田トシミ）とたっちゃん（高橋辰幸）による二人組ギターデュオです。

グループ名『SWAMP WATER / スワンプウォーター』とは、カクテルの名前です。和訳すると＜沼の水＞という意味になります。様々な材料をミックスして出来たこのカクテルは、見た目は泥水のように濁っていますが、飲んでみるととても美味しいのだそうです。

彼らの音楽もそのカクテルのように、ロック、ブルース、ジャス、レゲエ…などのエッセンスが取り入れられています。また、そのステージも邦楽、洋楽、そしてオリジナル、カバーソングを問わずバランスよく演奏されています。ライブ活動の拠点はライブハウスだけでなく、ビーチレゲエパーティー、保育園の夏祭り、外国人の多く集まるバー、多国籍料理の屋台村、レストランなどなど…場所を選びません。活動範囲も地元浜松市だけでなく、近年は、東京、静岡市、豊橋市、名古屋市と精力的に拡大しています。演奏の際の音響機材等もすべて彼ら自身が用意しているため、電源さえあれば、どんな場所でも演奏が可能です。

「スワンプウォーター」は、現在進行形のアーティストなのです。

SWAMP WATER is the guitar duo of Toshimi Tsuruta and Tatsuyuki Takahashi.They were both born and raised in Hamamatsu City,Shizuoka Prefecture.SWAMP WATER is the name of a cocktail.Translated into Japanese,It becomes"the water of a swamp".This cocktail mixies various ingredients and is dericious,even if it looks like muddy water!Like the cocktail.

SWAMP WATER's music is a mixture of Rock,Blues,Jazz and Reggae.Their performance is a balance of Japanese,Western and original music with many cover songs,too.SWAMP WATER has performed in a wide variety of venues:a beach reggae party,a daycare nursery festival,a bar where many foreigners gather,the food village of a multi-cultural festival,restaurants,etc.Their sphere of activity is energetically expanding to include Tokyo,Shizuoka,Toyohashi,Okazaki and Nagoya.Since they come equipped with sound equipment,if there is a power supply,they can perform!

In 2005,2006 they had a regular gig once in a month in "NO NAME BAR"owned by Memet from Turkey,with rich international flavor on Mall street in Hamamatsu.Visitors from every country gather there,as Hamamatsu is known as a place where many foreigners live.

SWAMP WATER gave over 60 superb live performances in a year and has spread their wings artistically with a popular present progressive form.
